Welcome to discoveresan.com. We are an organization determined to instill cultural pride, language awareness, and educate our youth in Nigeria and in the Diaspora of the history and language of the Esan people from Edo State, Nigeria. We create videos that instruct young people on the Esan language, Esan culture, and our unique African history. The type of Esan we instruct is the dialect from Iruekpen, Nigeria within the Ekpoma region of Edo State.

Our hope is to maintain the Esan language within our youth so that, wherever they are located within the world, they do not forget their history and language. There is a crisis occurring, my Esan people. Esan people are no longer speaking Esan! Instead, they prefer to speak English, pidgin English, or another adopted Western language. This is a crisis that discoveresan.com has decided to address.
